Holy Land USA Needs Us!

Please help acquire and repair Holy Land to better the community and reestablish a once loved park.

Holy Land is located in Waterbury, CT. The vision and creation of a local lawyer named John Baptist Greco, situated on Pine Hill in Waterbury, Connecticut, Holy Land U.S.A. was a place for education of the Bible and the life of Christ. It was not a shrine or a place of worship. It was dedicated in 1958 as “Bethlehem Village” and later became Holy Land U.S.A. Built with the help of Waterbury Italian volunteers, Holy Land was a tourist destination for years, sometimes drawing 50,000 visitors per year. See here for photos.

At this time, Holy Land is overgrown and vandals have cause great destruction. The land is up for sale at this time for $500,000. We have a vision of rebuilding the Holy Land that once was while utilizing this space to better the community.

Ideas would include offering a camp for children, camp grounds, a place for retreats of all kinds to mention a few. Please help us to acquire, rebuild and make this land functional for the people!

We have no interest in benefiting financially in this venture. Our only interest is to reestablish a beautiful piece of land to be used for the betterment of the area rather than to have it used for vandals trespassing. Men, women and children could all benefit from our vision.
